• Test water parameters: pH, chlorine, alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid, salt levels (if salt-water pool) as needed.

• Adjust chemicals to maintain safe and balanced water.

• Provide chlorine to sanitize and disinfect the water.

Vacuuming / Floor Cleaning

• Vacuum the pool floor to remove dirt, sand, and settled debris.

• Clean steps, ledges, tanning shelves, benches (if applicable).

Wall, Tile & Surface Brushing

• Brush pool walls, steps, benches, water-line tile to prevent algae, biofilm, and mineral buildup.

• Clean tile lines and water-line surfaces to remove scum, calcium deposits, or stains.

Skimmer & Pump Basket Cleaning

• Empty skimmer baskets, pump baskets to maintain good water flow.

• Ensure proper circulation and prevent clogging or strain on pump/filter system.

Filtration System Maintenance / Filter Cleaning & Backwashing

• Clean or backwash filters (sand or DE filters) as needed to maintain filtration efficiency.

• Inspect filter pressure, cartridge condition, filter media; replace or rinse cartridges when necessary.

Equipment Inspection & System Checks

• Inspect pool equipment: pumps, filters, heaters, salt-cells or chlorinators, timers, jets, etc. Cleaning salt cells if necessary.

Service Reports / Recommendations

• Provide reports summarizing water chemistry and work done, directly communicate equipment status and recommendations — helps pool owners understand pool health and needed future work.
